Looking for a fun, engaging, and screen-free activity during the school holidays? Our School Holiday Craft Day is a hands-on creative workshop designed for kids aged 6–13 to explore, make, and play with art in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Rather than focusing on fine art skills, this 3-hour session encourages creative thinking, experimentation, and self-expression through a variety of fun projects.

What Kids Will Do:

• Painting: Learn colour mixing, brush techniques, and expressive mark-making

• Tie-Dye: Create a custom wearable piece using fun dyeing techniques

• Clay Sculpting: Design and build original clay creations

• Mixed Media & Collage: Combine materials to make layered, imaginative artworks

• A water bottle

• A small snack

• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy (we’ll also provide aprons!)

Lucy, owner of Studio Inner West, a practicing artist and passionate educator who loves helping kids unlock their creative potential.

Sophie, from Off With the Pixies, will be co-teaching and designing the program for our school holiday workshops. She prioritises strong creative foundations over finished products, creating a fun, educational, and safe environment where children can learn and explore.

Together, Lucy and Sophie bring a supportive, creative, and inspiring approach to every workshop.
